ATLAS OF OSCEOLA invites you to become a part of the “Atlas Volunteer Brigade”. We are compiling a group of volunteers who are willing to help those with needs in your community. These needs could include small household repairs, providing rides for appointments, mowing lawns, etc. If you would be willing to help in this way or have questions, please call 754-4311. Also, the prayer room is ready and available during office hours. You’re welcome to stop in!
Atlas Community Prayer Time will be held April 8 at the Atlas office building. The Atlas board and staff invites you to an open time of prayer and praise beginning at 7:00 PM. We plan to meet each month on the 2nd Tuesday. Make plans to join us!
Camp Coast Care is working to restore the lives and dignity to just a few of the 1 in 4 people in Mississippi who were adversely affected by the 2005 hurricane season. Come and join us for a week in June to make a difference. Help is urgently needed. Whatever your skills are there is a job for you. Talk to Lowell Heibult or Pastor Scott for more information. You can also go to www.campcoastcare.com to see what is happening.
A website is available for those wanting to send a note to Karla & Travis at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/karlacrichton
“Caring for Karla” – if you wish to make a financial donation to the family of Karla Crichton, there is a container at the US Bank in Sibley.
NOTICE: When taking the church tables and chairs, you will need to write your name and phone number on the sheet in the janitor’s room. In case of a big funeral, we will need all of the tables and chairs in the church, so we will need to know where the table and chairs are at all times. None of the tables and chairs are to be taken out of the fellowship hall at anytime. Contact Steve Onken at 754-2797 for taking tables and chairs out of the Sunday school rooms. Tables and chairs should be returned within 24 hours of usage. If not please contact Steve. Please return tables and chairs to the storage room where you got them. Thanks for your cooperation!
Luther League will be hosting a Lasagna meal following church on Sunday, April 27th. There is a sign-up in the fellowship hall for those willing to help with donations. Thrivent will be matching funds up to $200. Thank you in advance for your support!!
Attention Campers! If you are headed to Ingham/Okoboji Bible camp for this summer, use Scrip to help you pay your way. You may earn the percentage of the certificates sold towards your Bible camp fee for the months of March and April. For those using Scrip, you can write down a campers name and have your percentage go toward their fee. For questions, talk to Regina or any Scrip team member.
Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back. You are invited to become a member of Team Trinity, our church’s American Cancer Society Relay For Life team.
